SYMPOSIA
A symposium includes the submission of multiple papers organized around a common issue or theme providing a high level of coherence and focused discussion. Symposia should consist of up to four papers to permit time for discussion.
Sessions will be 90 minutes and should be planned to allow ample time for discussion with the audience.
Submissions for a symposium should be 2-3 pages in length and should outline the theme, names and titles of individual presentations within the theme and a short description of each. A symposium topic should represent the newest ideas and results in the field, to be relevant to a broad audience of conference participants, and consistent with the conference theme.
A Symposium submission has to follow the Conference Publication Guidelines.
The accepted symposia will be published in the “CSCL2009 Community Events Proceedings”.
A Symposium proposal has to be submitted through the CSCL2009 Conference Submission System.
