A "Current ISLS member" is anyone who has joined ISLS since June 30, 2008 or who has renewed his/her membership since June 30, 2008.
For every participant, the registration fees include:
- Participation in all Conference sessions
- Conference material (including proceedings, program, conference bag, conference give away)
- Coffee Breaks
- Lunches (every day)
- Opening Reception
Note: If you are not currently a member of ISLS, your conference registration fee will include a one-year membership in the Society. When registering you may select the journal you wish to receive:
- The International Journal of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (ijCSCL) – or –
- The Journal of the Learning Sciences
If you wish to receive both journals there is a complementary cost: 25 €
(II) CSCL2009 Pre-Conference Registration Costs
Pre-conference events’ (workshops, tutorials, seminars) participants: will be charged a registration fee of:

Cancellation-Refund Policy: You can not cancel your main registration if you are author in the CSCL2009 Conference Proceedings and CSCL2009 Community Events proceedings. In all other cases, if notification is received by May 1st, 2009 a refund of 75% will be made. If notification is received between May 1st and June 1st the refund will be 50%. There will be no refund for cancellations made after June 1, 2009.
Registration related Notes:
- Only electronically submitted registrations are accepted.
- Into the Registration system, you will have directly to select the Registration profil category (ISLS member, Non-ISLS member, ISLS student, Non-ISLS member Student, One day registration).
- You will have to Register for the followings:
- The main CSCL2009 Conference.
- The Pre-Conference Events: For this purpose, please read carefully the content of the page Pre-Conference Events Program, as well as the "Pre-conference Events Agenda Overview" (pdf file).
- Social Events: There are four (4) Social Events offered that you may want to register for and there are fees only for the Conference Dinner (Friday, June 12th).
- Finally, if you bring an accompanying guest, please fill in the corresponding fields.
- You can register by submitting your online registration form and paying your registration and participation fee. After finishing the registration, you will see your personal agenda for the whole conference, while you will have also the possibility to modify your registration options if you will feel the need later on. In addition, you will receive a confirmation of your registration by e-mail.
- Main Conference presenters of all cases, as well as Pre-Conference events participants and Organisers have to register and pay the corresponding fees.
- Payment for registration are in Euros. Payments can be made by online credit card payment. Payment via a Bank account transfer is also possible. Payment via cheques is not accepted.
- Final note: Registration fee does not include your hotel accommodation.
