Conference Events Proposals Information
Detailed Information




All submissions addressed to the CSCL main Conference events will be peer reviewed by an international program committee.
All submissions have to follow the Conference Publication Guidelines.
Papers will be assigned to publication formats as described below:
Full Papers (8-10 pages). This type of submission is suitable for mature work. Papers that address a broad audience, and in particular those that help to set the programmatic agenda of CSCL will be assigned plenary presentations. Papers of equal quality that address a more specialized audience will be assigned to parallel paper sessions. The accepted full papers will be published in the “CSCL2009 Conference Proceedings”. Deadline: November 1, 2008.
Short Papers (4-5 pages). This type of submission is suitable for work that is significant yet is either still in progress or can be reported briefly. Authors will give a brief presentation, followed by the author’s choice of a small group demonstration, interactive poster, further presentation, or combination thereof. The accepted short papers will be published in the “CSCL2009 Conference Proceedings”. Deadline: November 1, 2008.
Posters and Interactive events (2-3 pages). Submissions for posters, and interactive events should be 2-3 pages in length. Submissions for interactive events should specify what activities will take place. The accepted Posters and Interactive events will be published in a special Conference Proceeding Volume called “CSCL2009 Community Events Proceedings”. Deadline: December 20, 2008.
Symposia and Panels (2-3 pages). Submissions for symposia and panels should also be 2-3 pages in length and should outline the theme, names and titles of individual presentations within the theme and a short description of each. The accepted symposia and panels will be published in the “CSCL2009 Community Events Proceedings”. Deadline: December 20, 2008.
