PANELS
CSCL2009 is seeking proposals for panels that discuss emerging topics and controversial issues of importance to the conference audience. Panel proposals are expected to address new, exciting and controversial issues, while they could be provocative and informative. Note that panels should purposely not be just a sequence of short presentations by the panellists, but should aim to spur a lively debate that involves the audience.
Submission for a panel should be 2-3 pages in length and should outline: (a) the topic, a description of the issues and their significance, as well as the discussion format of the panel; (b) name, affiliation and contact information of the Panel Chair (moderator) (c) the names, the affiliation and a very short CV of panellists.
A Panel submission has to follow the Conference Publication Guidelines.
The accepted panels will be published in the “CSCL2009 Community Events Proceedings”.
A Symposium proposal has to be submitted through the CSCL2009 Conference Submission System.
