Memorial Union

Opened on October 5, 1928, the Memorial Union sits on the shores of Lake Mendota between Helen C. White Library and the Armory (Red Gym).  This building is most recognized for its classic architecture, bright green, orange and yellow starburst Terrace chairs, big spaces, small niches for intimate discussion, and picture windows and balconies overlooking the beautiful Lake Mendota shoreline. One of the most noteable spaces at the Memorial Union is the Terrace which overlooks Lake Mendota, providing a large gathering space for casual, outdoor dining, and live music at night.

Memorial Union will house all sessions and meals. Conference Headquarters will also be in the Union, located near the conference sessions. If you need assistance with your registration, lodging, transportation, wireless login, or any other items during the conference, headquarters will be open each day during the conference.
