Gothenburg has two airports. The main airport, Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT), serves most of the major European airlines. The secondary airport, Gothenburg City (GSE), serves budget airlines such as Ryanair and has connections to a wide variety of cities.
The city centre is accessible by bus and taxi from both airports. Airport bus service is provided by Flygbussarna.
Taxis cost approximately 400 SEK from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and 375 SEK from Gothenburg City Airport.
By Train
Gothenburg is three hours by train from Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo with regular service to all three capitals and many other parts of Scandinavia. Service is provided by several different train companies, but most can be booked through the main national operator SJ.
By Bus
There are a number of daily buses running from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm to Gothenburg.
By Car
The major motorways E6 and E20 run through Gothenburg.
By Ferry
As a port city, Gothenburg is also accessible by boat. Stena Line runs ferries to both Kiel in Germany and Fredrikshavn in Denmark.
