Registration

Registration for CSCL 2015 is now open. Registration payment for main conference, pre-conference events and conference dinner can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or bank transfer through the online registration form.

Deadline for early registration rate has passed.

Registration Rates

All rates are in the Swedish Krona (SEK). Note that registration rates include a mandated local VAT (Value Added Tax) of 25%. See below for information on how to obtain a VAT refund after the conference.".

Important conference registration notes:

• You may register at ISLS member rates only if you have paid your 2015 ISLS membership fee. This can be done through the ISLS Society Website.
• If you are not currently a member of ISLS, your conference registration fee will include a one-year membership in the Society, with one journal of your choice. The CSCL conference administration will inform ISLS about the registration details of non-members after the conference. The one-year membership with ISLS will be effective for 2015.
• Participants who have registered as ”non-ISLS student” need to email the conference administration and attach a proof of student status in the form of a valid student card/transcript/certifying letter with information of the institution.
• All cancellations must be sent to the conference agency no later than 15 May 2015. Cancellations until this date will be refunded less a SEK 500 processing fee. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded.

Included in the conference registration fee:

• All conference sessions June 8-11, 2015.
• Conference pack, program and proceedings (electronic).
• Opening reception on June 8.
• Lunch and tea/coffee breaks, June 9-11.
• Social event on June 9.

Not included in conference registration fee:

• Pre-conference events (workshops, tutorials, etc.).
• Conference dinner on June 10.
• Hotel accommodation.
  

Pre-Conference Registration Rates

Important pre-conference registration notes:

• Some workshops require that participants have submitted something in advance – and they might have their own deadlines – please read information for each workshop carefully.
• The fee for the pre-conference events depends on whether it is a full or half day event. Please make sure that the right amount is paid.
• Participants may only register for the pre-conference workshops after registering to the main conference (June 8-11, 2015).
• Workshops may either be registered at the time of main registration or later on by contacting the conference agency at gu@reachem.se.
• Workshop organisers do not need to pay the fee for the workshop they organise themselves (but they do need to pay the registration fee for the main conference). This applies to a maximum of 3 organisers per workshop.
• All pre-conference events must be registered no later than June 2nd.
• All cancellations must be sent to the conference agency no later than 15 May 2015. Cancellations until this date will be refunded less a SEK 500 processing fee. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded.
• Full day workshop registration includes: tea/coffee breaks and lunch.
• Half day workshop registration includes: morning tea/coffee break.
• No early rates are available for pre-conference registration.

Conference dinner

• The conference dinner takes place on June 10.
• The dinner costs 625 SEK/person (including 25% VAT).
• The dinner should be payed through the online registration form.
• Please fill in any dietary requirements in the form.

Visa and letter of invitation

For visa purposes, a letter of invitation from the conference organizers may be obtained upon the completion of registration and payment. These letters of invitation are for participants who have an accepted contribution at the conference (paper, poster, workshop and so on). For more information, please contact cscl2015@ped.gu.se.

Swedish VAT

Swedish VAT is included in the registration fees and conference dinner cost according to EU and Swedish Tax legislation. It is possible to apply for VAT refund as follows:

• Swedish Participants: declare the incoming VAT as for any other service or product you are paying VAT for. For more information visit Skatteverket.
• EU Participants outside Sweden: contact your local tax authority for VAT refund. For more information, see the Taxation and Customs Union.
• Non-EU Participants: contact the Swedish tax authorities for VAT refund. For more information visit the Swedish Tax Agency.
